Who am I? I am a lot of things, but a victim is not one of them. I WAS a victim, now I am a SURVIVOR. I am strong, intelligent, beautiful, outgoing, carefree, fun, independent, loyal, energetic, fearless, confident, truthful, and above all, I am finally happy.
After everything I have been through I have managed to persevere and turn my negative life moments into a force for good to help others. I am living proof that if I can survive, anyone can. I was in an abusive relationship for 15 years, raising three children, and going to college. I pulled myself together and decided enough was enough, so I threw him out of MY house and I never looked back. I finally got it together financially and decided he was part of the problem and not the solution so it was time to go.
Remember to keep your head up, there is ALWAYS hope & help available! Help is a phone call, text message, or click away. Financial assistance is readily available. I know in Florida there are services and funding to help you and your children move across country, with complete new identities if need be. There is so much out there you probably don’t even realize. Get help. You can live again and be free.
